St. Mary’s Ryken Names Kevin Engler Vice President of Advancement

St. Mary’s Ryken recently named Mr. Kevin Engler of Millersville, Md., to be the Vice President of Advancement.

Mr. Engler has over 20 years of extensive experience in higher educational advancement and fundraising efforts. He most recently worked for Guidance in Giving Inc., an organization that provides counsel for Catholic stewardship, development and campaign efforts to schools, parishes and diocese.

At St. Mary’s Ryken, Mr. Engler will lead the school’s advancement office, which channels the philanthropy of alumni, parents, friends, faculty and staff into the spiritual and educational experiences that make the school unique. He will also oversee the school’s major fundraising effort, the annual Spring Gala, which raises funds for tuition assistance.

Mr. Engler received his bachelor’s degree in English and communication arts from the University of Charleston in Charleston, West Virginia. He is a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph High School in Baltimore, Md., that is, like St. Mary’s Ryken, one of the thirteen Xaverian Brothers Sponsored Schools in the United States.
