Traffic Advisory 4/14/18

Traffic Advisory for Leonardtown, MD
23rd Annual Run and Fun Walk for Hospice
Saturday, April 14, 8:30 a.m.
Expect heavy traffic and delays until 9:30 a.m.
Roads are not closed for the event, but there will be minor delays as police officers and volunteers temporarily stop traffic to let runners and walkers cross - please stay alert!
5K Walk starts at St. Mary's County Governmental Center, proceeds into Town Square around Tudor Hall and back out to the Governmental Center.
10K Run starts at St. Mary's County Governmental Center, proceeds around St. John's Road, circles back to College of Southern Maryland and back to the Governmental Center.
5K Run starts at St. Mary's County Governmental Center, crosses Route 245, proceeds into the Singletree neighborhood and back out to the Governmental Center.
This is Hospice of St. Mary's largest fundraiser of the year. They appreciate the Community support and the the assistance of the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office, @ Leonardtown Volunteer Rescue Squad, @St. Mary's County Emergency Management Services, and other members of the emergency services support team.

Seeking Event Planner/Coordinator


Event Planner/Coordinator

Manage all aspects of the event planning process, including collaboration with subcontractors, venue identification, printing and design of material and budget tracking. Collaborate with departments as well as local community groups. Attend community functions to network and identify potential opportunities. Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, marketing, business administration, or a related field or equivalent combination of experience and training is required. Excellent time management and communication skills required. Must be able to work evenings and weekends. Full-time. $38,332.00 per year.
