RESIDENTAL TRASH COLLECTION ON BACK ON SCHEDULE


UPDATE : Tuesday, January 26, 2016 @ 2:00 PM FOR RESDIENTIAL TRASH COLLECTION
Although the trash contractor anticipated resuming residential trash collection today, regional road conditions have resulted in additional delay. 

As previously stated, recycling collection will occur on Wednesday. 

Residential trash collection will resume on Thursday and will follow the normal schedule going forward.

Residents Urged to Stay Home Due to Severe Weather Conditions

The town office will be closing at noon today due to the projected deteriorating weather conditions.  Residents are urged to stay in. Please use extreme caution if you must go out. To help with the snow removal please keep vehicles off of the streets if at all possible.  Stay safe.

Now Hiring - Human Resources/Permit Clerk Position

The Town of Leonardtown is accepting resumes for a full-time Human Resources/Permit Clerk.

Responsibilities include processing payroll and all required reporting, management of benefits for employees and serving as Planning and Zoning permit clerk.

Individuals must have good customer service skills and be able to multi-task. AA degree in human resources or a related field or equivalent combination of experience and training is required.

Annual salary will start at $40,500 and up based on experience.
