regarding Leonardtown trash contractor
On Tuesday May 1, 2018, Goode Companies, Inc. acquired the
Town’s trash contractor Affordable Refuse and Recycling, Inc.
Customers should not see any significant
changes to their service. Collection
days will remain the same. You may
occasionally see Goode trucks throughout town and will likely see new Goode
toters and dumpsters slowly being introduced to the customer base.
Service charges will increase on July 1, 2018 by 2% but this
increase is unrelated to the company acquisition and is in accordance with
terms of the existing contract, terms which now apply to Goode Companies, Inc.
Goode Companies, Inc. served as the Leonardtown trash
contractor from 2007 to 2014. They are
familiar with this service territory and are excited to return.

representative to ensure prompt service.
