Steppin' Out in Leonardtown this Spring

Steppin' Out in Leonardtown this Spring

Visitors and residents are invited to Leonardtown for a series of five weekends in April and May during the Steppin' Out in Leonardtown spring campaign.

Each Steppin' Out in Leonardtown weekend will include a signature event and theme
from Earth Day to Armed Forces weekend.

Participating shops and restaurants around town will offer thematic deals and coupons and host activities and special events during these weekends.

Earth Day weekend kicks off the campaign on April 19-21 with a focus on all things fresh,
green and local, culminating with Sunday's annual Earth Day on the Square celebration.

Fabulous Fifties weekend takes place April 28-29 and features the St. Mary's Rod & Classic Spring Fling Car Show and all things retro.

The town celebrates May Day and Cinco de Mayo, with a Fiesta First Friday and Latin flavors all weekend, May 3-5.

Celebrate Marvelous Moms the weekend of May 10-12, with the SOMD Fashion Flea Market produced by 3 Chicks Promotions and a fashion show on the Leonardtown Wharf and specials, lunches and brunches at local shops and restaurants.

The campaign wraps up the weekend of May 17-19 with "Heroes Welcome," an Armed Forces day salute to the troops.

The Steppin' Out in Leonardtown campaign is a cooperative effort made by the Commissioners of Leonardtown, the Leonardtown Business Association and St. Mary's County Division of Tourism.
