            The Town of Leonardtown is currently seeking bids from interested firms for a three-year term beginning December 1, 2014 for uniform rentals for four employees.

            Interested bidders may obtain a bid package from the Town Office, Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm or by calling 301-475-9791.  Sealed bids, addressed to the Town Administrator and marked “Sealed bid for Uniforms” will be received at the office of the Commissioners of Leonardtown, 41660 Courthouse Drive, POB 1, Leonardtown, MD  20650, until 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 31, 2014, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read.

            The Commissioners of Leonardtown reserve the right to reject any and all bids and proposals, and to accept any proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.

Featuring -  The Seldom Scene from Washington, DC and many other local Bluegrass bands.  

There will be food for sale, bake goods, hot beverages, craft vendors, silent auction, many door prizes, 50/50 raffles, $500.00 raffle, and much more.

Upcoming Events at St. Mary's Ryken

St. Mary’s Ryken will hold a special Information Session on Monday, October 13 (Columbus Day) from 8:30-10 a.m. This is a regular school day for SMR and classes will be in session. Administrators and faculty will be on hand to answer your questions and to give tours of the campus. The school will still have their regular fall Open House on Sunday, November 2, from 12-3 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public. The Blaine Whorl Memorial 5K honors the memory of this 2002 St. Mary’s Ryken graduate. Proceeds benefit a scholarship in his name. The walk/run is on Saturday, October 18, and begins at 9 a.m. at the SMR Stadium and continues through Leonardtown. The course has been certified by USA Track & Field.
