Each year, the Oyster Scald is held as a kickoff to the Oyster Festival and as a fund-raiser for the National Oyster Cook-off. The event will take place on Friday, October 1, 2010 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Leonardtown Wharf. There will be live entertainment, oysters, light appetizers, and beverages included in the admission price. Tickets are $25.00 per guest if purchased in advance or $30 at the event.
