FREE HONOR FLIGHT MOVIE SCREENINGS! Honor Flight is a
non-profit organization which brings WWII and Korean War veterans from all over
the country to Washington, D.C. to see their memorial at no cost to the
veteran.
A documentary about Honor Flight was recently
produced/released and it is a moving and inspiring movie! Through the efforts
of the Pax River CPOA and Free Think Media, we are able to offer two screenings
to the local community free of charge! While admission is free, seating is
limited to the size of each venue - 350 seats on June 6th at the Center Stage
Theater on board NAS Patuxent River and 200 seats on June 8th at American
Legion Post #274 in Lusby. Please use the links below to reserve your seats - a
portion of seats at each venue are set aside for veterans (any veterans);
however, if there are no veterans' seats available when they make their
reservation they are certainly welcome to use the general admission tickets. If
you know of a WWII or Korean War veteran who will be attending, please ask them
contact ATC Marc Scott directly at marc.e.scott@navy.mil
so they may be identified and given the acknowledgement they have earned. If
for any reason you are unable to reach me, you may contact AZC Apryl Nanney at apryl.nanney@navy.mil for assistance.
Please spread the word by sharing this information with as many people in the
local area as you can. We are very hopeful for a large turnout at each venue
and we hope to see you there!
