BE AWARE - ROAD STRIPING ON WASHINGTON ST - WEDNESDAY FROM 10:00 AM TO NOON
Drivers and Pedestrians - Please be Aware.
Washington Street is getting some new striping on the road
from the Town Square down to the Wharf on Wednesday, November 6 beginning at 10:00 am to run until Noon.
There may be pockets of temporary traffic delays while the
stripers do their work. This striping
will provide more visible safety on our streets and roads. Notices about additional striping planned for
mid-November will be announced soon.

Date Change Notice
The Town office will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2019
in observance of Veteran’s Day and also to participate in the 44th
Annual Veterans Day Parade.
Therefore, the regularly scheduled Town Council meeting scheduled
for Monday, November 11, 2019 has been changed to Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at
4:00 p.m.
The agenda will be provided on Tuesday, November 5th to the
media and posted on the Town’s website at www.leonardtownmd.gov
under News and also available on BoardDocs at https://www.boarddocs.com/md/tolmd/Board.nsf/

The Planning and
Zoning Commission meeting will be held on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 4:00
p.m.

IMPORTANT - Scheduled Electrical Outage - Friday, November 1st - Effects Walter Francis Duke Elementary School & Leonard’s Grant Housing Development
As work progresses on
the new Library, it is necessary for all electrical power to be shut off
completely for critical safety reasons and for them to make the necessary connections.
The Town is working
closely with SMECO to coordinate the termination of power for the Library and
have worked out a scheduled electrical outage to complete this
work.
