Town Council meeting - Monday, August 9, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.

 

The Town of Leonardtown will hold its Town Council meeting on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. with a Workshop held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021.

WAYFINDING SIGNAGE PRODUCTION AND INSTALL

The Commissioners of Leonardtown are seeking bids from local sign companies to produce and install a wayfinding system of signs in the Town of Leonardtown.  Interested companies are encouraged to contact the Town Hall at 22670 Washington Street, POB 1, Leonardtown, MD 20650 to pick up a bid packet or visit www.Leonardtown.somd.com to download a packet.  A pre bid meeting will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 9, 2021 at the Town Hall.  Sealed bids will be received until 11 a.m. Friday, July 23, 2021 at which time they will be publicly opened and read.  For further information contact Laschelle McKay at 301-475-9791 or by email at Laschelle.mckay@leonardtownmd.gov.

 CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR LEONARDTOWN WHARF FOR THE SMBC SUMMER BOAT REGATTA (July 31st & August 1st):

Southern Maryland Boat Club Summer Regatta - vintage boat races will be held at Leonardtown Wharf on Saturday, July 31st & Sunday, August 1st from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Please note that for public safety following closures will be in place for the event:

No overnight docking at the Leonardtown Wharf Boat Slips on Friday, July 30th & Saturday, July 31st.

Please also note that the Boat Slips, the Pier closest to the boat slips and the left-hand parking lot at the Leonardtown Wharf will be closed for the event at the following times during the weekend:

Saturday from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Sunday from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Come on out and enjoy a day of vintage boat racing on Saturday, July 31st and Sunday, August 1st from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
