NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING
The Commissioners of Leonardtown will hold a public hearing on Monday June 13, 2011at 4:15 p.m. at the Town office at 41660 Courthouse Drive, Leonardtown, MD. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive comments on the Recommended Budget for Fiscal Year 2012. Copies of the budget are currently available at the Town Office between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Relay for Life, St. Mary's County - June 11 and 12
The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life, St. Mary's County will be held on Saturday and Sunday June 11 and 12, 2011. This Celebration of Hope is open to the public and all ages are welcome to attend and will be held at the Leonardtown High School track starting at 5:30 pm.
Relay For Life is an all-night event to Celebrate our cancer survivors, Remember those that have been lost to cancer, and learn about ways to Fight Back against this disease.
This year we have a goal to reach out to 183 cancer survivors and have
107 Relay Teams help raise a total of at least $272,000.00. We are well on our way to meet these goals so if you want to learn how you can help the American Cancer Society and the Relay For Life, St. Mary's County visit our website at http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR?fr_id=33314&pg=entry or email us at stmarysrelay@gmail.com.

Spring Fling XXVI Classic Car Show on the Leonardtown Square

The Spring Fling XXVI Classic Car Show will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2011 from 8 AM - 4 PM in historic Leonardtown Square.
Classic and antique cars and trucks will be on display and trophies will be awarded.
Enjoy a day of family entertainment, music, a kids’ tractor pull, food and more! $2 Admission fee to benefit Hospice of St. Mary’s.
